So I'm trying to install the mods for PST but when I run the exe the window closes itself within seconds and then the .exe file disappears.
I installed the wide-screen mod without problems but this error shows itself with ghosthounds UI mod, the Ultimate Fixpack and the Unfinished Business mod.
help please.



Oh, I forgot to mention that I use Windows7 64-bit,

I have exactly the same problem as you... let's hope Qwinn catches on.

When you finish installation of one of the mods, for example Widescreen, DELETE it's setup.exe file from main game folder.

I didn't have any trouble installing the mods according to the instructions on the guide, but when I tried to uninstall the fixpack, exactly what you described happened. I then uninstalled everything and re-installed them and everything worked fine.

To get your .exe back, check the //PST-Fix//backup//0// folder in your Planescape install directory, and Torment.exe should be in there. Just copy or move it back into the main folder and try it again. That should save you from having to reinstall the whole game.

Try installing it outside of the Program Files folder, that's the only thing I haven't seen anyone suggest and I know might work.
