Honestly I may just be at a point where I don't have any direct "assigned" quests but I think my game is bugging out. I play the game only a couple times a week due to a lack of free time, but when I do I usually need to catch myself up to where I was in the game. Unfortunately I don't have any quests listed in the journal, and it seems like there should be SOMETHING there (like the next stage in the main quest). For reference I just spoke to the tower of skulls for the first time, but I honestly forgot where they said I should be going (I last played about 2 weeks ago). Thanks for any help guys.

I have the same problem. No assigned quests for a long time. I just returned to the Mortuary after fighting Trias and looks like I had no way to advance the history.
After visiting the Mortuary second floor in the table where the game is started, I walked to the hole in the center and was able to enter the Fortress of Regrets
