After playing loads of RPG , i have to say the romance in planescape torment is the most unique not only in a game, but in any reading material as well..

Contrast to all the wooing in most games these days which provide outstanding graphical materials, i have found that it is the "philosophize" romance within planescape:torment that is most memorable and one which most people looking forward to.

Take the Romance with Deionarra had create many debates among gamers and non gamers alike... is Deionarra the most foolish girl in any world or she is the most faithful one that willing to wait Nameless one in eternity?

And the Romance with Fall-From-Grace, is nothing short of marvelous, before playing this game i have never thought of anything that allow us to "romance" a succubus, succubus usually had been interpret as a being with the most horrible characteristics....but in this game i am amaze how the author interpret the Falling/Rising of a succubus, where she outsmart the Demon Lord and become a being of such intelligent, a Brothel of intellectual Lust is a most wonderful creation, i hope there is one such place in real world where the lust can be fulfill by pure intellectual/communication.

Any moment of talking with Grace is nothing short of intense memory, where she will not allow herself to love anyone as she is a succubus that can drain the life of others...but at the same time, she had display the most caring and faithful attitude towards the Nameless one till the end, where she refuse to betray Nameless one to his mortal body...In the end, her farewell speech to the Nameless one where she ask him to remember her name, and through the memory she will fly to the nine layers of hell to search for the Nameless one, had convince me that a succubus can really love someone;-)

I think if the original author rebrand the love story between Fall From Grace and Nameless one into a romance novel, definitely it can be a cult hit:)
