As you all know there's this really nice mod guide for Planescape: Torment.
Before I buy this game I want to know a few things:
Usually I like to own a physical copy of a game. Does the regular DVD version (hope you don't mind: http://www.amazon.de/Interplay-7905-Planescape-Torment-Import/dp/B002TOKQIG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1333961513&sr=8-1) include ANYTHING the gog.com release does not include?

Regarding the mod guide:
Before I do go about playing this gem, I want to know what fixes add user-created content.
I am fine with widescreen fix, but anything that alters the "original vision" is a no-go in my book.
That presents a slight dilemma for which I need help: The unfinished business fix does restore unfinished content, doesn't it?
How did they restore it then? Did the modders add anything content wise or did they exclusively rework the "assets" into the game?
The tweak pack also seems to include a lot of stuff that was made entirely by modders.

I'd be very glad for a detailed answer that helps me decide what mods I should use.

Thanks in advance

EDIT:
Just stumbled over this guide here: http://www.gamefaqs.com/pc/187975-planescape-torment/faqs/48406
Can anyone tell me the stats needed to have every dialogue option available? That's all I really care for.
That probably means I'm going to be a mage, with what I'd be okay with.

On the last question, just ensure you get high wisdom and that should give you the vast majority of dialogue options. Plus you get added XP when it gets really high. Not a bad idea to start with 18 wisdom.

Don't read any FAQs or walkthrough is my advice. Just play the game so you get to experience it without any spoilers. Be a mage, focus on wisdom and intelligence, and you're basically set.

Wish I could have my memory wiped and play this again. Nothing beats it. Nothing.
And what values exactly give me all dialogue options?
Thanks for the reply :)
Not even sure it's possible to get ALL dialogue options in one playthrough, because there are apparently different qualifiers for different people and situations. Mostly it's related to wisdom and/or intelligence, but it can also be strength or dexterity or charisma, and probably constitution too.

I think you will have just about every dialogue up to the last sections of the game with about 19-20 wisdom and/or intelligence. For a certain important meet you need 24 WIS (and 24 CHA I think) if I recall correctly from what I read. There was a post about it on GameFAQs somewhere, from some guy that had gone through the files of the game and done some statistics and such. Don't have the link as it's been a while and I was just browsing through some threads after having finished the game, but you may be able to locate it over at gamefaqs.

In terms of getting the most dialogue out of the game, I'd say the order of importance is
1. Wisdom (also with XP rewards)
2. Intelligence
3. Charisma

Keep in mind though that you get a fair few 'free' extra points throughout the game, particularly to wisdom, so you don't need to max it out (25) via level upgrades and tattoos.
