Howdy, GOGers!
I'm running a fully modded Torment on Win7 x64, and I'm having some major text errors. Several entries aren't appearing in my journal, memories fail to appear, I have to mash random buttons to make the dialogue continue, and text that should be there simply isn't (such as with the messenger skeleton in the Mortuary - I get the note and go straight to being able to apologize for taking it, then I can't read the note or even tell what it is when I hover over it.).
I have this problem with or without mods, in compatibility and out of it (tried XP 3, 95, 98, 2000), and with or without administrator permission.

Anybody got a fix?
You shouldn't need compatibility mode and that won't affect text display to my knowledge. Did you install the game to program files? Have you tried installing it to another directory? Post a screen shot of problem.
Yup, it's in Program Files. x86, or whatever the number is. I'll try moving it. For now, though, here's the screenshots you requested.

Here's Morte, with a bit of missing text in his stat block:

This is the note from the skeleton messenger:

The mouseover text works here...

Reinstalling in a new directory fixed the problem. Thanks for the suggestion.
Yah, it's usually not a good idea to install older games like PST to program dir on vista/win7 with UAC. They need the ability to write files to install dir which can cause issues like this.
