My plan was to do the Godsmen quests but WITHOUT joining the faction, as I want to play through this game w/o joining any of them.

So I did the quests, and told Keldor that I do NOT want to join juss yet when he asked if I wanted to take my vow.

But shortly after I left the Great Foundry, I saw that the Godsmen faction sign was on my PC's character sheet!

Is there any way, w/mods or without, to leave this faction? I haven't read any dialogues w/Keldor that allow me to leave!
You can belong to only one faction at time, so joining the other will automatically remove your Godsman status.

Thanks!

But is there any way I can become factionless?

It's not a big deal I guess (as I can choose to not use the Godsmen's resources), but if I can be factionless, then that's way cool! But thank you Thiev!
I don't think you can become factionless after joining one, but it sounds like the Anarchists faction is for you.

It's actually not a bad group from a powergaming perspective. You get to shop at all of the faction stores, just don't get any of the faction special abilities.

I don't think the Chaosmen have any benefits. There is a point in the game when they won't attack you if you are a member, but its better to get the XP. I think you can get a single item from the leader, but I forget what and how.

As poster above said, I don't think there is a way to become factionless. Maybe you'd be stripped of your status after commiting a crime against fellow members (attacking, etc.), but that's purely a speculation.

At this moment of the game he probably wiped them out anyway ;)
^ LOL! Actually Thiev, (SPOILER ALERT, for those who haven't gotten this far in the game yet!) I bypassed them without killing them en route to the Alley of Lingering Sighs! As tough as TNO + party are, I like to avoid bloodshed where I can - especially since I juss finished a game of Neverwinter Nights 1's official campaign before starting up PS:T a month ago! The bloodshed is seemingly neverending in that game! LOL!

But I juss wanted to restart this thread again as I deliberated the option (ANOTHER SPOILER!) to follow Bedai-Lihn into destroying the Baatezu war machine the Godsmen are building. As much as I want to do so (and thus perhaps make life better for citizens of the Lower Ward), I believe I should decline, as I don't want to kill the tieflings working on the project, as I feel that's murder (I'm RP'ing my TNO as Neutral Good), using them as unwilling and unaware gambits.

Thoughts? I juss want to drum up some conversation on the topic, as this is most likely the most active PS:T forum on the internet right now! Hooray for us goggers, playing and celebrating this most awsome game!
