I heard about some mods that I should install and such and when I looked at my folder for the game it seems like I already have these mods installed are these already active and working in the game or not? thank you

GOG's version comes with an DirectDraw fix applied to ensure the game's running out of the box. But there are no content mods or Widescreen mod included (some players advise against the latter because your savegames won't work without it any more once you're using it, hence you can't uninstall it without loosing your saves).
