I just downloaded PS:T, and when I try to run the .exe installer, I get a message that says the file is not compatible with the version of Windows I'm running (Win7 64 bit), and won't proceed with the install. I've even set compatability mode to Windows XP SP3, but it still gives me the same message.
I have it installed on my Win7 Pro 64 bit rig. All I did was right-click the installer and chose "Run As Administrator'. Once it was installed, I set the desktop shortcut to run in Win XP SP3 compatibility mode and to run as admin. Works no problem.
I have tried run as admin, but I get the same message. I'm downloading a fresh copy, just in case it was a corrupt download.

A fresh download solved the problem. I guess my first download was corrupted somehow. Strange!A fresh download solved the problem--I guess my first download was corrupted.

Hopefully that will solve it for you. I just installed it last night, and had no issues.Applied the widescreen mod, GUI mod, and a bunch of fan fixes (Qwinn's fix packs) and it's running great for me. Good luck!
