I totally forgot that you need your intestines for a massive XP gain from Ignus. I dropped them in my first trip to the Dead Nations. I went back (must later I have Ignus and Fall from Grace now). The intestines are now gone. Any way I can get these back? I dropped them on the ground. I really want that XP but I also don't want to have to re-play that much of the game. I tried several save hacking programs but none of them work! HELP!
Go to Undersigil and kill a few monsters there until you've got the XP you desire (should take less than one minute). If your character is wimpy you can kill respawning abishai or go to a certain training location instead.

So glad I kept mine... it seemed such a completely ludicrous thing to have in the inventory I knew they had to be for something...
I was planning on spending plenty of time in undersigil (I did my last game too) but that still does not let me see the *story* I miss when talking to Ignus. He is one of my favorite characters. I also would miss out on the great spell it gives you.

I was able to use Near Infinity to edit my save and reset Marta's dialogue so she could dig around in my guts again so I was able to get a hold of them again! After being gone from an area for 24 hours all dropped items will vanish. Or so I was told on the GameFaqs forums.
I did the same thing. Bugs the heck out of me. Thing is I kept them around for awhile but finally ditched them in the catacombs too. Gah.
Just FYI for others in the same boat, just add it to your inventory using IESE mod. I lost the bronze sphere and added it back in my inventory using it.

Awsome! I got this editor when I was looking for an editor to match my Icewind Dale II purchase (another game that has Ravel's ummm...influence). And I right now tried it on PS:T, and I was able to eliminate a spell out of Dakkon's spellbook that I didn't like! Now I can give him a BG favourite of mine, Chromatic Orb!
