Hi. I'm doing the quest where Kesai-Serris helps NO to go through his dreams via the machine. However in the dream I'm facing two greater glabrezu solo. My NO is a mage and can't melee at all. They just demolish me with a couple of hits, even when I tried to cast guardian mantle to protect me. They also seem to resist all damage spells I try to cast on them. Any ideas how to get through this part? I hope there won't be much of this solo action in the future. x.x

Is this the dream machine from the godsmen? I've only played through twice and there's never been any playable section to that at all, just small in-engine cutscenes?

Isn't Kesai-Serris one of the prostitutes from brothel of slating intellectual lusts? I'm confused.

After the dream machine you have to re add your party members by talking to them (you had to ditch them beforehand). Sure you haven't just buggered off and forgotten to re add your companions, and are underneath sigil or something?

I doubt you're supposed to be able to defeat two greater glabrezu solo so early in the game. Maybe you're supposed to loose.

This happens after you return to Sigil from Crust and all that business. You can go talk to Mebbeth then to Kesai-Serris and she will agree to accompany you to the dream machine (it won't show up as a quest but you can still do it). In the dream you go solo against those monsters. It will also allow you to open the closet in TNO's room in the Festhall. Anyway, I managed to kill the glabrezu by dozens of magic missiles and force arrows plus a meteor storm.

but after I do the conversation with mebbeth, my journal doesn't update, and there are no new topics with Kesai-Serris.. :(

Any ideas anyone? I'm using the recommended fixpacks.

You are supposed to kill these monsters.

There is a spell that Dakk'on can teach you that is helpful.. Also remember that the monster's lives does not replenish for each time you go down.. It's also possible to pull them one at the time. Hope this helps!

Just to clarify, is this content modded in or present in the original game?

SPOILER You need Ravel's black-barbed seed for the quest to progress beyond the conversation with Mebbeth. If you used it you'll have to cheat to finish the quest by using a savegame editor. I was sure I saved the seed, but apparently not since I didn't have it with me when I needed it. None of the editors I tried had the code for the seed so I had to edit it in myself.
