I know that there have been graphical issues in the past playing Infinity Engine games with older Nvidia cards but I wasn't sure if that is still a problem for something a little newer.

I'm getting a Nvidia 550 ti soon and hope that everything from BG1 to PST to IWD2, etc. all run fine with it.

I'll be running on Win7 64 bit if that matters.

Thanks very much. I'm still working on BG1 with EasyTutu atm which is working flawlessly for now with an ATI card but I bookmarked the page linked in the thread for future reference if I wind up needing it.

I wound up posting about this again in the BG forums which I think might see more traffic just to see if newer card owners have been having better luck in general.

I'd get a ATI 6850 vs Nvidia 550 ti and skip this issue entirely but the ATI equivalent performance cards are still running almost 50 bucks over the Nvidia ones which is crazy.
