The attached image shows it all. I have GOG version and all recommended mods installed. Tried installing DDraw (don't know if that can help) but got fatal error during startup. Any help appreciated.

Run setup-ddrawfix.exe in the game's directory and try the three different modes, especially option 3 "Use WineD3D's DDraw Library".

You might need to run it as administrator to work (right-click setup-ddrawfix.exe and select "Run as administrator").

I did not play the game with all recommended mods because there also were issues. I think the UI mod and/or the resolution mod caused me troubles. Try starting with the vanilla version and successively install mods until the problem shows up so you know which mod causes the problem, that helped me get an adequate, functional game.
