Sooo, I've reloaded my quicksave. Everytime I pull up the Statistics screen for Annah it comes up but NO button is clickable and no button, not even the escape, has any effect on the game. I'm in a tenemant building by the Smoldering bar at the Hive. I'm hoping for something strange like it will let me do it when I go to a new area or something, but I have to ask if anyone has heard of this? Its right on the "Accept" button. Its all great until then. And a strange thing is the game doesn't feel like it crashed or anything. No stutter in graphics or sound or anything.

This game really is starting to pick up too. I might just have to watch a lets play for the ending and begin Arcanum tho if this is a serioius problem.

She is gaining a level as a Thief, right? No, the game isn't crashing, you're required to distribute the thief skill points before the level up process can be completed (see pics). And you're kind of far from reaching the ending yet, if she just joined... tons of exciting stuff ahead...

Have you read the novel? Not the official one that is written for 10yr olds. I read about another one but havent heard any feedback.

I think I have, at some point, and it's pretty much the text version of a playthrough, so the dialogue comes from the game itself. Meaning, it's technically a good read, if you don't want to actually replay the game. (Won't work as a full substitute for a real first-time playthrough, though; Torment just doesn't feel the same without interactivity.)
