I recently purchased PS:T and installed all the suggested mods/patches, but I find my game crashing when entering certain areas; the two I have found so far are the Empty Tomb where a portal from the Mortuary sends you, and Ku'atraa's Warehouse. Any attempt to enter these locations results in an immediate crash-to-desktop, but I thought the patches were supposed to remove bugs like these?

Have you by any chance installed the widescreen patch and switched to another resolution?

I did, and some areas would glitch out. When I used a newer version (http://www.gibberlings3.net/widescreen/) and applied the patch to my savegames the crashes related to wrong resolution ceased.

I still experience a random CTD now and again, but mostly not when entering an area.

Have you tried applying this patch? It fixes crashes in a lot of smaller areas.
