So I'm only in the trash warrens i think its called after speaking with Pharod. The skull died on me in a dungeon area with a bunch of hostile collectors. Morte died as I made my way to the exit. I did a quick run around but don't know where he died and I did exit the area and come back. Could he be lost for good? I haven't looked closely cuz its filled with baddies.

You should have the ability to raise the dead at this point. Try it, you don't need the body- er, skull.

mmm problem is you can raise him where ever your at, but i think all his equipment drops where he died at and unless he was totally empty, youd want to hunt around to gather up what ever he was carrying.
