This is only a minor thing, but I remember in the original, whenever you finish talking to a female zombie, Morte would make some comment such as "I'd love to share a coffin with her" or something like that. I also remember these lines being voiced.

While Morte still says you shouldn't attack female zombies because he'd like some female company (so to speak) when you ask him about it, he no longer adds his comments after every female zombie dialogue.

Not sure why they'd do this, as it's not like the comments distracted from the experience - if anything I thought those comments were pretty funny...

Beamdog is a company that likes to shove leftist propaganda down our throats ergo Morte's sexist comments have been toned down.

What? Is that sure?? Why did they destroy the game? Are they mad?
I'm okay for feminism, not for taliban censorship.
Are you sure this is different from the original game, or is it only different from the original game with Qwinn's mods installed?

Because the EE doesn't include quite everything from Qwinn's Fixpack, and nothing from the Tweakpack and Unfinished Business.

censored by SJWs and supposedly the original devs suppork them. lame. much triggered.

That's a good question, as I've only ever played with Qwinn's Fixpack - so I can't be 100% sure.

However I don't recall reading in the Fixpack that extra text/voice was added for Morte in the mortuary, so until someone confirms otherwise I'm pretty sure...

I can confirm that those extra lines are not implemented in the vanilla game. I played the game several times unmodded before deciding to try the any mods. Shame that they aren't included as part of the content curated by Chris, but nothing that updated mods won't fix for those who care that much about it.

Ah OK then, didn't know that - just assumed it was always that way. I retract my original post (in a manner of speaking anyway). As I was saying it's not a big issue at any rate - it was literally only a few lines of text/voice, though the absence was noticeable.

Anyone who really wants this stuff will have to wait for updated patches I guess. Also for portraits, since this just uses the originals.

Are you sure? I played unmodded at release, and I think these lines were in the game. Or may I have a bad memory.

Morte was only that talkative with the unfinished business mod installed. Qwinn's fixpack had an option for accelerated banter, which was probably required to hear all of it.

Nah banter is when your companions talk to each other AFAIK - it shouldn't have anything to do with Morte responding to what the nameless one does. I could be wrong though - the lines I'm thinking of were voiced and did appear as captions.
They haven't added or changed any of the dialogue. Beamdog has been clear on this ever since the announcement.

If Morte doesn't speak, or whatever, it is probably a bug or something.
More Morte talk is a component of unfinished business which is not included. it's not a bug.

Yes, but we want the normal talk, we don't care about more talks than the original.
It seems it's a quite bug: As the screen is far unzoomed, then we are often far from Morte. The solution should be the devs to increase the range of talks.

Dead sure. I remember installing the recommended mods and being pleasantly surprised that Morte had those extra lines. I think that there was an option to enable them in the Fixpack or UB , along with a similar mortuary "fix" that made the initial dialogue lose a lot of its sparkle in the name of 'player choice'. Thankfully, that part was also not included in the EE.
