So somehow i accidentally went down in the dump passage before i was ready and now, I've lost my previous saves. So i'm down in the dumps (metaphorically and literally). How screwed am I? is there any way back up? There are 1 billion guards in the prison and i wasn't ready to do all that. Blah!

You cannot go back. Sorry.

As to the guards, you can go back to the Hermit in the tunnels and rest there if you need to heal and restock your spells. More importantly, if you have a thief, you can really put their Hide skill to work by having them scout the area ahead in order to get an idea of what you are up against and help you plan your attack.

Yeah i figured. Thanks for the confirmation though. Figure i could pound out the six hours i lost in about an hour now that i know what to do / say. Oh well.

True. I'm pretty into the story though and want to keep that level of immersion. I'll just run through what i had already done. Plus, in my first time through, annah had died in the ravel maze, so i was really just running around curst looking for some way to resurrect her. So oh well. I've made my peace with my save-fail torment.
