Hey beautiful people, I'm trying to stream Torment so I'm running it in a 1920x1080 window using Ghostdog's and the Widescreen mod, and while it can't play the videos in this mode everything else was working great.... Until...

I ventured into the catacombs in the mortuary map in the Hive, and got to the necromancer (quest for one of the Dustmen at the Gathering Dust bar). As soon as combat starts and he casts his spell, the game crashes to desktop.

I don't know what to do but I'm already pretty invested in this game, so any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you all <3

I'm unable to help you, sorry: tried to look around but couldn't find any solution.
Anyway I can tell you that the widescreen mod is the most probable (if not certain) cause of the issue.

I'm playing on a mac and the constant freezing and crashing has driven me crazy. I'm about to reinstall without the widescreen mod and play that way. In areas where crashes keep happening, try mixing up the order of combat. Immediately have Morte taunt or cast a spell to disorient him. Maybe if the necromancer spell doesn't go off, you can get past it.

Will say though that as Ive progressed - in Curst now - the crashes become more frequent and usually involve spells and inventory.

Killing me to reinstall, but hitting quick save every time i talk to someone or save is frustrating.
