Hi,

I just fought against Ravel, now I am looking for a way out of her maze - but the portal doesn't work -.- Every time I step through, there are no dialogue options or anything, I just get teleported to another edge of the map.
I tried almost everything: I reloaded the game several times, tried to use the other portals, used the same portal twice - but there is still no dialogue window, and I cannot get out of the maze either :(

Does anyone know whether I forgot something, or what else I could do to continue the game? =)

Did you try all other portals? The northeastern one should take you to the Curst.
Yes, I always tried that one at first... but thanks anyway.

Make sure to only approach that portal - clicking on it will teleport you around.
If the dialog window doesn't appear check if you're not in combat mode.
Other than that, reloading may be your best chance :(
Hah - that was not quite the right solution, but you just gave me the perfect idea: I had to click the portal while being in dialogue mode >_<
I still think it was a bug... it surely wasn't intended for players to figure *that one* out.

Thanks for helping!
=)
I recently started a new game with all the mods listed for the GoG version. When I reached Ravel's Maze and killed her my party went to the northeast portal, prompted the dialogue to enter the portal. Then and Im thinking because of the resolution change from the widescreen mod or perhaps something else after the cut scene played my party was cramed in the bottom left hand corner talk about irritating.

Instead of the game bringing you to the city your still stuck in Ravels maze this game is great but until it gets an overhaul for new computers theres just too many bugs to enjoy this or for my sake even finish it.

I finished it on a modern comp recently, no mods cept a widescreen one. Only annoying bugs were occasional crashes on level transitions (some places were more prone than others) but it autosaved anyway. Awesome game btw.
In case anyone else is still having problem with cutscene after escaping from Ravel's maze: for me it turned out that the component "Subtitled cutscenes" from PST-Fixpack was causing the cutscene to hang.
I'm experiencing a variation on this, that I've not seen mentioned.
After killing Ravel, I went to the northeast portal. Clicking on the portal itself caused me to be teleported to another corner, but walking around the vicinity of the portal causes the dialog to trigger. Here's where it gets weird: After choosing the option to cross my arms and jump through, a cutscene involving Ravel and The Transcendent One is shown. He tells her to get up, and she does, but she just stands there, and there is no further dialog between them. Then the dialog box asking if I want to jump in the portal comes up AGAIN, and if I choose to jump in, the same cutscene plays again, but generates another set of Ravel and The Transcendent One, who stand next to their doppelgangers. I've repeated this up to three times, getting 3 of each of them. The only way to stop it is to choose the option of not jumping in the portal, but that leads to another bug:
I regain control of my party, and they are standing in the same "room"(black space in the bottom-left corner of the map) as Ravel and The Transcendent One. I can click on either of them to initiate dialog, but only The Transcendent One will say anything--something to the effect of "So you have come. You are not welcome here, broken one"), but that's all. Anyone else have an experience like this? I'm only using the essential bug fixes.

Well, after some more searching, I decided that the best thing to do would be to try disabling the "subtitles in cutscenes" mod(the only mod I had installed, which seemed harmless enough), as baal-zebub suggested above. Strangely, this actually fixed the whole game-breaker of a problem, and the whole scene completed without error, allowing my party to transition to the next map. Hopefully, this info will help somebody else with a similar issue.

Thank you, that was what I needed! I temporarily uninstalled that component and the cutscene worked as it should.

Had exactly the same issue, thanks for posting the solution.
