Just bought Planescape: Torment, installed fine to C:\GOG Games\Planescape Torment, anytime I try to run it
I get the error:

"Torment.exe - Application Error
The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the application."

I've also uninstalled it, tried re-downloading it and installing it to: C:\Games\Planescape Torment and it's still the same. Also tried it both with and without mods.

Any ideas on how to sort this out? it's the first issue I've had with a GOG game.

Try disabling your antivirus and/or firewall -- sounds like something is interfering with the proper startup, and those are the first things to check.
