I've played Torment before on my old 8800 gtx card and as people are aware there are a few graphical issues, some which can be fixed with patches such as the nvidia fix for the black borders around objects or by disabling D3D acceleration to solve the lagging spells.

I'm upgrading to a Radeon 5970 soon and planning to have another playthrough of Torment, are there any unfixable issues with Radeons and Torment?

Cheers
I'm on a mobility Radeon, but no issues here.
I have a 4850 (latest drivers) and the fog of war kind of flickers when panning the camera, but it's only a minor annoyance.

Same thing here on my mobility radeon 3470 playing the fully modded Torment, but it's the only issue I've noticed so far (still in the mortuary).
Thanks for the replies, are you guys running with DD Acceleration disabled? This also disables vsync which as I recall is what accentuates the fog of war flicker.

Also, are you getting any mouse trails?

Thanks
I don't see either of those to settings in the game's Video Options, and haven't made nay changes for the game in the Catalyst Control Center. No mouse trails.

Though now that I've started looking for it, slight flicker of fog of war when I move. :p

Mobility Radeon HD5730, Catalyst drivers 1.8
Radeon HD 5670 here. D3D acceleration off. No fog of war flicker, but I do get pointer trails in some instances, such as dialog boxes and the very bottom of the screen. It's not in the gameplay area, though, so I hardly ever notice it.
Hmmm. Has anyone found a solution to this. The fog of war flickering is quite an annoyance for me.
Don't know if I've seen any fog of war flickers on my 5770, although maybe I just haven't been paying attention.
I have an ATI Radeon HD 5700 series card, the only issue I've had is to get the widescreen mod to work the way I want it to. I tried using it at the resolution of 1920x1080 but it didn't fill up the whole screen like I expected it to, the right and left edges on the screen for several inches had black bars like you occasionally see in 4:3 formats on HDTVs. It could be the monitor so who knows, no big deal. Its a Samsung 1920x1080 LED HD monitor, flatscreen.
I haven't played on win7 yet, but on XP all graphical bugs could be fixed just turning the hardware acceleration slider down far enough (How far depending on the specific video card and drivers).
