My game crashed to desktop after undoing the Dabus repairs and returning to the face in the alley so it could divide. I clicked the dialogue to end the conversation and that's when it crashed. Reading other posts, I think there was supposed to be a disc swap for a cutscene. Not quite sure what to do, and my last save was back inside the thug hideout (sigh) so it's going to take a while to get back to where I was. What can I do to stop it from crashing? I'm running Win7 and several Spellhold Studio mods but NOT any of the unrecommended or still in beta ones--I'm NOT running the widescreen mod.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I was recently playing and it crashed for me at the same place as well, but I just reloaded the game and it worked the second time.

Also there should be an auto-save so you don't have to run through all that again, or can you/did you disable that?
@pirengle: Could you post your WeiDU.log found in game directory and save before crash? Unfortunately, the few crashes left with PST that aren't caused by widescreen related mods are hard to track down and reproduce.
I had a similar problem. When I ended the dialogue it played the cutscene, asked me to insert disc 3, and then loaded up the next area. However, as soon as I got a glimpse of the square, it asked me to insert disc 2, which does nothing. It just continues to display the insert disc 2 screen until I quit.

I'm playing the 4 disc game on Win7.
I've installed every recommended mod, including the widescreen mod (which I'm also having trouble with).

Edit: Nevermind, I uninstalled my game and I'm going to try again without the suggested mods. If I have the same problem again, I'll post it to this topic.

For me, I found that if you leave your party members at the top left of the screen and select only your character to approach the stone face alone, there is no crash.
