I cant seem to remember how to load the stock recopies into the game. When I try and do it game it tells me I can only load custom recipes. Any help would be appreciated.

I would love an answer to this, as well. This is a creative copy protection mechanism that was included with the original game, so that you had to have the manual to recreate these recipes, or else nobody will come to your restaurants. However, I personally find it too annoying to deal with. It would be awesome if GOG included these in the game data, or else provided a relatively simple mechanism to load them when starting a new game.

Had the same problem. It will work if you take the recipes from this zip file.
