I'm thinking about buying Pizza Tycoon 3, but I'm unsure if the version here on GOG is up to date compared to steam?

Hopefully somebody can confirm this.

I have the same question, but that does not seem to interest anyone (no one reply since 6 Apr. :(, so I'll buy it elsewhere.

It isn't up to date, the current version on GOG is Quattro Fromaggi Update from 19 June 2018.

Thank you!
More deadbeat developers/publishers who don't care about maintaining version equality between distribution platforms.

I don't understand why anyone buys GOG games anymore unless they're genuinely old games which can't suffer from premature abandonment of support for 'lesser' distribution platforms like GOG and itch. This happens all the time.

Like the original name suggested before it became just an acronym, GOG is truly only Good for Old Games.
I don't know who is responsible for no updates for game on GOG, but I feel like my money was stolen. I paid for game but I am not getting updates!
Glad to see this warning. I know some are saying I'll buy from Steam instead, but I know not to buy from this dev period. People want to buy DRM free versions, and even if you don't care about that or the ethics of GOG customers basically getting ripped off who is to say their next project wouldn't only get updates on the Epic store version, for example. If they can't bother keeping their game up to date on all platforms they aren't a trustworthy dev and could abandon support anywhere at any time.
Since the developer and/or publisher just released a new game here (Endzone: A World Apart) and seems to be quite active in the corresponding forum, I want to raise the question again when Pizza Tycoon 3 will FINALLY be updated here on GOG!

Try gently nudging the developer with a kind inquiry or tapping GOG support.
I got my eyes on this since its in a sale now but the two reviews are horrible and the devs apparently do not fix the gog version?
As of October 2020, Pizza Connection 3 has been updated to the latest update. (An update which Steam got a year and a half ago, but better late than never...)
Is it still up to date now?

The Steam depot hasn't been changed since 2019, and the GOG version was last changed in 2020, so I guess so.
