I downloaded that suggested fix for PC2, and while it did fix the lag issue after about a minute or 2 the mouse cursor will disappear. Quite hard to play when you don't know where to click and unfortunatly I can't seem to find any fix or anyone else with this problem. I'm using windows 10 if that makes any difference and I also tried the steam version of PC2 and it has the same issue. I haven't edited any of the graphic settings yet, could improper graphic settings/screen resolution settings be the issue?

Have you tried using one of those Direct3D 1-7 comparability layers?
