Hi GOG team,

I bought the game for my girlfriend who plays it on a Macbook Pro with Mac OS 10.11.3. Apparently, the game is missing two files, which makes it kind of unplayable. I originally wanted to ask for help, but in the meantime we managed to fix the issues ourselves, so I'll post the solution as well.

The issues:

Whenever you want to buy floor tiles for a restaurant, the game would show the error message “File 'd\kachinfo.pc' not found! Try again? Yes| No”. This makes the game effectively unplayable since you cannot open new restaurants (they need a floor after all).

The other issue is with the file for the high scores. A similar error message would pop up when you try to open the high score list or exit the game. (I'd post screenshots but your forum neither lets me attach images nor post imgur links. Gotta work on my rep I guess.)

The solution:
The solution is quite simple. The folder “D\”, which contains these two files, is located in the wrong subfolder, so you simply have to move it.

When you install the game, the folder is here:
/Applications/Pizza Tycoon.app/Contents/Resources/Pizza Tycoon.boxer/C app.harddisk/save/d/

Use Finder to move it to the parent folder, so that it is here:
/Applications/Pizza Tycoon.app/Contents/Resources/Pizza Tycoon.boxer/C app.harddisk/d/

I tried the Windows version and it worked just fine, the issue is only in the Mac version.

I'm getting the same problem on Mac OS.

Thank you for the solution! I'll try it and provide feedback asap.
Good news. GOG replied to the support ticket I opened and said the bug will be fixed in version pizza_tycoon_en_2.0.0.2.pkg (if it isn't already).
Cheers.
