After the nonsense that
Don't Starve Together is proving to be, I have been holding off picking up additional games here (insomnias etc notwithstanding) until they get Galaxy sorted. Steam is undoubtedly evil but, it's convenience for both devs and consumers alike has resigned it to being a necessary one.
I agree that GOG is walking a slippery slope a lot with all the issues, but in this case in particular I think slower is better. Rushed broken updates are worse than slow but proper updates. Steam has more employees because they sell AAA games and have dozens of inappropriate ways of monetisation, they can afford to be both fast and precise.
