Hi there fellow scallywags,

I've noticed in Pirates! Gold that my gold (and occassionally cannons) will literally vanish for no apparent reason between voyages.
For example, I'll have 11000 gold in Tortuga, sail to the next town and suddenly I've got only 3000 without encountering any ships or purchasing anything in stores?

A quick online search has been very fruitless.
Anyone know of this issue, perchance?

Did some crew leave you when making landfall in the next town? They will take their gold with them. Or did you confuse the whole gold including the crew's share with your own? If not, can you describe in which screens and which situations you check your gold?

Ah, this MAY be the case upon reflection. I wasn't aware that they took a portion, and some crew did leave now I think about it. Probably that's the answer.

I'll mark that as a solution, thank you very much The-Business. I'll double-check about the cannons thing, because I believe a few of those have gone missing as well. Will triple-check to make sure, though.
