Hi. The game crashes/freezes (=black screen) after trying to leave a town after loading save game. No chance to continue game. Happened several times now using different carriers. Tried different configs in dos box but no differences. Any Ideas?

I think I remember this being a problem for me with the original (non GOG) Pirates Gold.

I never found a solution other than saving often with different save slots, so if one broke I had another one to fall back on.

It's happening to me now too, just like in the good old days. Now I'm looking for a solution.
