I've been playing the Illusions tables Law n Justice and Extreme Sports a lot.
These are based a lot around modes, especially LnJ, who have 8 modes (+final Arrest when you done with the 8).
There are lights for each of the 8 modes (4 faces, and 4 blue lights above them) at the field. To start a mode, you first have to enable the mode.
That is done by shooting the green ramp in the middle right area, by the flipper to the left in the middle of the table (easiest done on start shot of each ball).
When the ramp is shot, the white lamp "Start mode" will be lit. Shoot that "hole" to start a mode.
The mode that will be started is the one that's blinking at the time you shoot "Start mode".
The modes are switching as the ball hits the round bumbers. When a mode starts, you pretty much get the instructions in the score display.
The red arrows guides you what you are supposed to hit. If you complete the mission, the green arrow to the city jail will be lit, for a 100.000.000 point shot.
Even if you fail to complete the mission, that mission is "done", and you can try to enable the mode again, by shooting the green ramp, and then start it by shooting the hole with the white blinking "Start mode".
There is also other stuff, like combos, ball lock etc, but the the modes is the major thing about the table, so concentrate on that.
At Extreme Sports, it's the same thing, but the mode is enabled by shoting the "dead-end-ramp" in the middle of the field.
Hope this was helpful :)
