Greetings!

If anyone is familiar with this quest, i would ask for some help. Seems my quest is bugged. I have three pieces and i know where the last one is, the problem is i can't get to it.

On the level 9 of the endless paths, there is a hidden room (it's not really hidden since you can see it, but yeah..) which is opened by a secret switch. You need to be in stealth mode to see it. Problem is, mine is not showing up when i go into stealth. I know exactly where it should be, it just isn't showing up.

I don't know if it has something to do with the level or skill level (stealth), it just ain't working. I think my rogue has stealth skill level of 8 i believe. Not sure what to do.

I would say it is the level of your stealth. Try creating an adventure and give them as much stealth you can.

I read on the Obsidian forums that it's the Mechanics skill that helps you finding secret stuff and traps.
I can confirm this: with my high stealth ranger I couldn't find anything. With my low stealth, high mechanics companion I found the hidden stuff immediately, and detected all the traps.

Guess I'll make one high mechanics and one high stealth bot and see if it works.

it is mechanics not stealth

10 mechanics allowed me to get the last piece, but now there is a different issue. Now it won't allow me to progress on 14th level as another hidden switch is required and it won't show with 10 mechanics.. really frustrating this is.

Do you mean level 13?

SPOILER: The door you need to open to proceed requires you to complete an unrelated quest (in the main quest storyline).

Ok i understand what you mean. I can talk with the spirit now but he gives me a wrong password. And i still can't lower that "hidden" wall because the switch refuses to show with 11 mechanics and 18 perception (apparently, perception is irrelevant in discovering hidden stuff, but just in case).

I am level 11 and basically just started act 3. Guide says that there is another spirit behind that hidden doors, but as i said, i can't lower it. Also, that guide doesn't mention anything about progressing through the main quest in order to proceed with the dungeon..

He gives you what he thinks is the right answer, but the password was changed to be the opposite of that. To learn this (and get the necessary option when using the door), you need to talk to the spirit in the lower, southeast room (the one who's kneeling, working on something).

You don't need to get through the secret door to talk to any spirit. Speaking of which, I'm having the same problem with the secret door. I know what's supposed to be done, but it's not possible to do it. I was going to bring it up here after searching around these forums and not finding a solution, but decided to start a new thread so the question wouldn't be lost. I'm not sure it was the right option, though.

Yeah you are right. I basically figured it out but sadly didn't have much time to play nor to post it here. Had just enough time to clear the next level which was rather short.

I think I came across what's wrong regarding that secret door. Apparently, we need to absorb the knowledge of a spirit in a previous level. I don't remember the name of the character, but I think it might have been the one Kana's looking for, sort of. We get three options, and that's option number 3. If we pick option 1 or 2, nothing doing. Apparently, we chose one of those two (I recall this only vaguely, though).

I have no savegames that go back far enough, so I guess I'll only know for sure when I play this thing again.
