Hi,

I loaded up the game and the options for "Continue" or "Load" were no longer clickable. However, I read that this is due to a bug with one of the games locations (Raedrics hold).

After creating a new save this was not in this location either. Therefore on search it seems for some reason that my saves are now loading and saving to:
%userprofile%\Saved Games

These used to load and save to:
C:\Users\%username%\Documents\My Games\Pillars of Eternity
(Change to location of your user folder if moved)

I have copied my saves to the new location and this loads OK including Raedrics hold.

If anyone else has this issue; this might be where your saves are but I have no idea why they have all of a sudden moved location.

For me, the game has always saved to %userprofile%\Saved Games\Pillars of Eternity. That's also the saved game location listed on PCGamingWiki.

Strange issue. It's possible you had a registry pointer or hard link between those locations that was lost. Did you make any changes to your system recently? Like an OS upgrade?

I was thinking the exact same thing; except I only purchased Pillars of Eternity after I had a clean install on Win 10 a few months before; unless a windows update changed this location early on as I had deferred updates initially (find it best to let a few weeks pass) and I think this was still playing catch up at this point.

My user folders are in the default location; so no idea why this all of a sudden occurred.

If anyone else runs into this problem; hopefully this points them in the right direction or the wiki page.
