In January, Obsidian released patch 3.4.1356 (still in public beta) for PoE1. Is there any chance we could have it on GOG soon, possibly via a beta channel?

While it's probably not ground-breaking on its own, the 4x upscale mod only works with that latest version and it quite significantly improves the graphics quality. Unfortunately, there is no way to install it with GOG's PoE, leaving the (not-my-favourite) Epic Store as the only version that allows it.

and finally is happening! the patch is official now!

Yes released on June 6th at other storefront with version 1.3.7.1377. Hopefully we will get it soon on GOG as well.

At least for Gog Galaxy is already there. However, it seems that the offline updaters are now pretty problematic :(
