I never used AI in BG and other Inifinity Engine games since I preferred to micromanage, but in this one, with so many "per encounter" abilities, I finally decided to try them out. Just so I don't have to manually use Sagani's Wounding shot or my Crippling strike every time.
I disabled per-rest actions. I want to use those myself.
However, I'm not sure I'm doing it right. If I manually order them to do something they do it, but once they finish they just stop acting. How can I get them to continue their AI script after I finish my order.
For example, I'd like my Aloth to attack if he's not given any better orders from me. If I tell him to cast a spell, he should cast and then continue attacking. Or Sagani with Cautious AI should use her Marked Prey and Wounding Shot abilites and prioritise the same target her Animal is attacking. If I tell her to attack somebody else she attacks him and then stops after he's dead. How do I get her to continue attacking after she carries out my order?
