I play with GOG Galaxy and Cloud synchronization.

Quite often when I start the game , the game can't find the savegames .

The saves are actually in the standard location.

The load and continue Button are greyed out .

If I restart the game often enough it finally finds it.

I even tried to disable cloud synchronization and it still can't find teh savegames.

Anyone an idea?

Version: 3.05 (A) including White March I and II

Same thing happened to me. In my case I managed to fix it by locating my save files (which for some reason were in a completely different place than they should have been) in Documents/My Games/Pillars Of Eternity.

I copy and pasted all of those files into Users/[Insert user name here]/AppData/LocalLow/Obsidian Entertainment/Pillars Of Eternity.

I was then able to load up my save files. No sure if this will help in your case though. It seems to be a common issue and it appears it doesn't have one solution.
