I've got a E8400 Win7 64 rig with a Radeon HD4870. Somehow, graphics are extremely choppy from the get go, even on lowest resolution. Anybody got the same? Any way to solve this?

EDIT: ow, and 4 GB Ram...

The only think I've found so far was disabling MSAA.

Steps:
* Open the console by pressing the key just below ESC, to the left of 1 key (normally ' )
* Press Return
* type "msaa 0" without quotes and press Return;
* If your computer can handle it well, try rising the number to 1 or 2 (ex: "msaa 1" or "msaa 2") to improve graphics quality

Disabling MSAA with "msaa 0" didn't make the game run smoothly for me, but it had a huge improvement in performance anyway.
Thanks. It helped a bit, but not a whole lot unfortunately.

It kind of irks me that the minimal specs were very doable for my rig during the backing process, but got upgraded substantially now. It should run ok though, but to be fair, it does not...
I agree. I'm also kind of annoyed by the complete lack of graphics options in the graphics menu. Unless there is some other place where i can tweak options such as shadows and other such things.
