So, I come home after a weekend away for Easter and decide to download and install the PoE patch, quite excited about it all. GoG has it up, cool. So I download it and install it. And the installer stops working. Goes into "Not Responding" mode. So I redownload the patch and try to install it again. Same thing. Hoping that my game isn't broken, I try to play the game, and what do you know, can't load the saves. Game just crashes. Only option available, reinstall the game and play without the patch.

Is no one else having any issues with the patch not even installing properly, and as such breaking the game, I mean literally breaking it? Is it just me?

Sometimes the patch take time to work, even if don't appear to respond. You only need to wait a little more meanwhile is patching. (This was the case for Wasteland 2)
