Hi everyone,

has anyone experienced the Oops! error message on pillars of eternity hero edition.

Message reads as such:

"The game crashed.
The crash reported folder named "2017-05-28_143548" next to game executable.
It would be great if you'd send it to the developer of the game!"


I have purchased and installed straight from GOG. I have also run the three patches that came with the install files.

What am I missing?

Then you've regressed the game version-wise. The installer is v.3.06 and the available patches are for 3.03, 3.04 and 3.05. Uninstall the game, make sure you have the 3.06 installer and install that ONLY.

I had this issue in my laptop.

I was running it through GOG Galaxy. Would be good to see the error logs, but what I did to fix it was basically to re-install the NVIDIA drivers, but NOT through the NVIDIA Experience. I just downloaded the official driver from the NVIDIA site and re-installed it without even open Experience.
