Dear all,

i wanted to install the game but i got the following error:

Verifying archive integrity... All good.
Uncompressing Pillars of Eternity (GOG.com) 100%
Collecting info for this system...
Operating system: linux
CPU Arch: x86_64
trying mojosetup in bin/linux/x86_64
USING en_US

PANIC
Initial setup failed. Cannot continue.

Error: Couldn't run mojosetup

Of cause i checked the solutions i found here and with google (e.g no spaces in the pathname, unzip the file (unzip does not fount any zip file).

Execution rights are set in the right way. The md5 is eccc62cf4db9827348ceaed9f046a79c maybe someone can check it (gog_pillars_of_eternity_2.11.0.15.sh).
Otherwise, i am happy to get some help and will thank you in advance.

Greatings

For me the md5 is ecb8427d23c6a8e408afb7ee93a73acb for that file.
As archy2 also indicates, it's likely that the file has not downloaded completely.

The messages "Verifying archive integrity... All good." and "Uncompressing Pillars of Eternity (GOG.com) 100%" are misleading as this will also be displayed when the download has broken off and left you with an incomplete file.
I supposed that, but could not find any checksum. I will download it again. After that we will see.
As i was very busy the last days it took time to check if pillars runs now.
Yes!
The corrupt download was the error. So this thread can be closed. And thanks for your help.
My Linux installation of Pillars 2 hangs about halfway through the file creation process at "Ships.unity3d". Anyone else having this same problem?
