shmerl: No, I bought it on GOG. Still, no updates this time.
There were no notifications here either (not sure if should be), but with PoE specifically, I found following "Project Eternity Announcements" rss (if you still have reader for that) helpful for whatever updates and lists of changes in them.
If fixed a bug with patchmonger release 2.0.5, which surfaced when calling patchmonger from a directory that contains spaces.

I also uploaded the latest patch as patchmonger patch (size: 33MB):

http://stuff.neovatar.org/patchmonger_poe/

gog_poe-patch-1.3.0.4_1.4.0.6.tgz is patch from game version v1.0.5.0567 to v1.0.6.0591

@vv221 feel free to mirror, if you like :)

And… mirroring done!

Probably the quickest one since I started mirroring your patches ;)
With patch 2.0 in the works, I plan to build cumulative patches allowing to upgrade any GOG release to the new 2.0 version as soon as it’s published. Post-2.0 patches will go back to the regular iterative model.

That means I won’t keep proposing iterative patches for pre-2.0 versions, cumulative patches should be enough for the needs of everyone.

I updated all the patches: now you can download cumulatives patches updating all PoE versions released by GOG to the latest 2.5.0.6 one. Only release 1.5.0.7 has no patch, because its contents are actually the same than 2.5.0.6.
Their usage are still the same than for the previous iterative patches, so the explanations in the first post are still pertinent.

Now that GOG is going to provide patches to their Linux games, it might be the last update this project will see.

I’ve been a bit quick when "tidying" my patches directory before putting the new ones in place, and deleted by accident my mirror of your patches.
I have several propositions for you, pick the one you feel more comfortable with:
_keeping only my new patches as the new reference
_putting back online your previous iterative patches (I kept a backup of those)
_letting you build patchmonger cumulative patches, then I’ll mirror those

My preference is for the third proposition, but I’ll go with whichever you might chose.

The 2.0.0 Patcher doesnt recognize my game anywhere. *edit* It all boils down to a file 'gameinfo' in the install path next to the start.sh script. But i does not have this file. Can anyone copy me the contents?

*edit again*
I give up, full redownload and install.

I'm also having this problem. Has anyone found a solution yet?

Thanks for pointing this out, I uploaded the 'gameinfo' file coming with GOG release 2.5.0.8 here:

I stop following this thread, now that there are official patches provided by GOG.
If you need to grab my attention in this thread, you’ll have to quote one of my messages.
update

Since GOG does not provide patches for The White March, Part 1 yet I built some and put them at your disposal on this page:
unofficial patches for Pillars of Eternity

As usual all feedback is welcome here ;)

I just realized official Linux patches for PoE are not downloadable anymore.
Is there some interest to see the unofficial patches for the base game come back, in addition to the patches for TWM, part 1?
