I had left a negative review on PoE 2 which a certain amount of users (7/20ish) found useful, now I checked again and the numberf of useful ratings is of 0/13. Its like GoG did a review wipe.

I also saw another 3 star review ''I am bored'' which gathered a high amount of useful ratings and it also seemed to have been pushed down. Plenty of fresh reviews with 0/2 ratings are appearing in top spots.

Anyway this whole review system is starting to stink just like Steam's.

It doesnt matter, someone else took the time to write a very legit review and still got pushed down too. Its like the admins are toying with the system to boost sales.

It's actually a gog site glitch. Nothing to do with you personally, just thousands of other users, disregarding their reviews.

Just happened to check out the page for Civilization 4, and every review on the first page had 0 of 0 user interactions, which I found quite weird given they were from 2017 and actual reviews too, not one-liners. I reckon something, as usual, is borked.

Actually I checked other games and they didnt get any reset, it only happened with PoE which makes it extremely fishy

Well at the time of this posting your "review" had 2 out of 10 saying it was "helpful" which sounds about right to me...

It doesnt matter, the score got reset multiple times and not just for me. Right now the top review is pure bullshit praising the game as 5 stars and doesnt offer any criticism.

I always come to the reviews with the mindset that it's skewed a bit. It's all about selling the game. It's our yob to try to glean a pattern of truth behind the veil of promotion.

At least that's my jaded 2 cp's on the matter of game review boards.
