So, I checked and there is a "4.0.0.0033 to 4.1.0.0023" patch up for linux. Yay for not having to download 22GB again, just for an update.

But: All the DLC in my list now shows as v4.1.0.0023. Do I have to download all those DLC files and reinstall them? That would be a bit of a pain (obviously not as much as the 22GB base game, but still).

Usually just applying the patch works for me.

BEWARE: Linux patch (v4.0.0.0033 to v4.1.0.0023) downloads file

"patch_pillars_of_eternity_ii_deadfire_en_v4_0_1_0041_26008_to_v4_1_0_0023_26892.sh".

Yes, the patch fails on version mismatch. I'm really sick of the GOG/Obisian Linux patching mess. I'm done with this game and will probably go back to playing on Windows.

Edit: fix formating

Kinda too for me anyway. I didn't do the update and now all that's available for download is
Patch (v4.1.0.0023 to v4.1.1.0034)
but I'm on 4.0.1.0041, so no dice.

It's a bit of a shambles, indeed.
