Hi all,

I have a glitch at the beginning of the game that prevents me from playing, at least with Aloth... I have played 1 hour and recruited Aloth. When I restart the game the next day, Aloth appears invisible, then still. He's unable to do anything but "hover" on the map. Worst thing is, the bug applies to all my saves.

I restarted the game with the last update. Same thing happens as soon as I launch the game a second time with Aloth. I have tried to fire him and take him back with a console command, but nothing changes. I also tried to kill him with my party, nothing changes.

I have searched the internet but no answer so far. Does any of you know this problem ? Is it a hardware problem ?

What? That's really weird.
Did you install any mod?

I think reinstall would be your best bet.

Sounds like some weird data corruption kind of thing. Trying to reinstall the game would be a good start. If that doesn't help, it's probably save game related and you'll have to roll back to an earlier save or replay the game.

So I reinstalled the game once, it didn't change the problem.

I reinstalled it a second time, and problem solved for now. Fingers crossed !
