I accidentally aggroed a few commoners in Ondra's Gift. Is there any way to solve this problem? (Dont want to kill everyone everytime I enter the map).I replaced my old quicksave like a fool :c. Thanks in advance, waiting for your replies!

Unfortunately probably not. These types of games give you the freedom to do what you want, including having an evil party and slaughtering all of the townsfolks. Gotta be careful you don't kill the questgivers lol.

You NEVER want to just rely on a quicksave for a lot of reasons. You should have multiple save points for your game. Sometimes the quicksave can become corrupted or you might find a game breaking bug so you should always have old save files. As a rule of thumb I always have at least 4 different saves going on. Every time I enter a new zone I save, I keep my old save from when I entered the last zone. I save every time I'm going to talk to someone important or get into combat. The point is you want old saves that you can go back to in case you mess up and do something stupid or in case you die.

Have lots of saves.

It does make it harder since you can't name your save files like in the old BG games. Hopefully they'll address that in a patch soon.
Similar to this question, is there a way to initiate conversation, or at least attempt to, after combat has been engaged by accident?

Specifically I got into a fight, cast an aoe spell, and a potential party member attacked me after they walked into it.
Thanks for the answer, I had to backtrack three hourse of gameplay. It was a rough lesson, but I think Ive finally learned it. Now I save everytime I enter a completely new zone. It would be nice to actually name the saves, but I can get over it for the time being. I hope quicksave doesnt fail me again haha
no autosave ? :(
damn that's harsh, 3 hours is bad, especially if you're playing on hard, some fights can be a real pain !
tho as people said before me, i manually save in each zone i enter, and usually before any important decisions aswell
