and I cant switch it, Alt+tab just flashes the screen for a moment and it minimizes again.

Hit Q before it minimizes. If I minimize my game I have to hit Q for some reason to make the keys unstick.

Barring that, do you have other programs running besides Pier Solar that demand to be front screen? I have a two screen setup and run everything else on the second screen.

Thanks, it was something running in my task tray. Either Logitech (Mouse, Keyboard or Game Controller) Samsung SSD manager or Nvidia Experience thing. I will have to narrow it down. None of them take control of the screen as far as I am aware, but it is something with this particular game because it works fine when I close everything. Thanks for the tip.
