Just in case someone hasn't seen the notification, the new DLC won't drop on here today; they're estimating the 8th.

Yep :-(

Unfortunately, our GOG release is slightly delayed and should be available as of October 8th. We apologize for the inconvenience there.
Gog always brings up the rear. I'm not sure why. Doesn't matter to me a whole lot but it is strange.
Once again, both the Hypnos update and the DLC release get delayed... :(

However, I found a much expected feature in the patch notes, so let's hope we don't have to wait *too much* for this one:

"Disabling an eye of the Yuggothian entity will remove a Mark of the Void from a random soldier. A hint to support the mechanic will appear if hints are enabled."
Some things I've seen elsewhere suggest it might be just as well; a fair number of people are indicating post-DLC problems with turn speed, something we hadn't had for a long time.
Was wondering where it was. Typical for GOG to get stuff last or never.
As I use steam a lot, is that normal for most products on gog, or is this Phoenix Point specific? I remember the patch last winter where there was a several weks gap between steam and gog release...

Depends on the developer.

Some do simultaneous release consistently, some delay a couple days, some seem to forget about GOG entirely so I have to bug them on the Steam forums.

Looks like it will now be end of next week, below was posted on Snap Shot Games forum yesterday. Damn, holding off starting a new game until this shows up...

"Just a small update on the GOG release for Hypnos and Corrupted Horizons. While the content update and DLC should be ready by early next week, it’s likely we will bundle the release with the recent hotfix which may cause some delays until later next week.

We will share more specifics on timing as soon as we lock that in, but we appreciate your patience here in the interim."

Not really Phoenix Point specific:
