I installed the GOG version of the game on Windows 7 and noticed that along with the inability to watch movies when I try to move to the "view" by pointing my mouse at a side of the screen it will leap far too far. The only way to actually point where I want to be was to click on the minimap - and this becomes maddening. I had the original disk version of Pharaoh (no Queen of the Nile) so i installed that and while I had the same problem with videos I do not have a problem moving aruond the map with my mouse.

Any suggestions?

reducing scrolling speed? I mean they have it set at 100% by default, so you can easily turn it down.

This is just not intuitive. The scroll speed setting is in the same menu as the game speed one.
