hey so I got a old version of pharaoh, which suffers "the pyramid glitch" missing top corner section and not finishing construction
and I'm wondering if that is fixed in the GOG version?

You mean the monument corruption bug in Cleopatra, yes that's fixed because GOG.com uses the latest patched copy (2.1), which does not suffer this bug (the monument corrupting bug was in 2.0)
