Playing through this game again, I noticed a strange issue. On the first mission, the bazaar wouldn't send out buyers. The bazaar and granary were both fully staffed, the bazaar was set to buy the food in question, and the granary was full of food. The bazaar was maybe twelve or so tiles away from the granary, and they had road access to each other. I let the game run for a couple of years and nothing happened - the bazaar just sat there. Destroying and rebuilding the granary fixed the issue, but is this a bug with the first mission, or is it something that can come into play on later levels as well?

Also, is there a way to win the third mission without turning the difficulty level down? It seems that on every level other than Very Easy I need musicians to upgrade my houses to the required level, but of course the level doesn't give you access to musicians. I remember reading somewhere that this was introduced by Cleopatra, but I was wondering if anyone's found a solution that doesn't involve turning down difficulty.
Did you find an answer. Did you see if you have the food items on stockpiling?

Nope, never found an answer. No idea if the food items are on stockpiling or not as you don't have access to the Overseer of the Granaries yet. But I can say that a dozen or so missions later it's never cropped up again, so it might just be a bug specific to the first mission.

Would it be possible to attach a screenshot of your city layout in the first mission?

At least it wasn't a game breaker. The only other solution I can think of is that the cart pusher couldn't finish a task (for whatever reason) and froze the granary. If it happens again and can't find a solution, one final shot would be to destroy the existing facility and see if that resets the food distribution. Don't know, but might be worth a final shot.

Yeah, that's what I did. Razing and rebuilding the granary fixed it. I remember when I built the Granary the first time there was some sort of message about "Can't place building on breeding grounds" or something like that, but it let me place it anyway. That could have caused a glitch.
Are you not able to post a screenshot?
