Does the Overwatch Mechanic cover the Z Axis in the game.
Example will a operative set to overwatch fire at an enemy located above or below them within thier line of sight?

I'm not sure if I am being specific enough please let me know if I need to elaborate on my question!

You mean overwatch up floor and down floor? You can do that.
After click overwatch button, when you choose overwatch position, you can also move the camera up and down(for mouse/keyboard, default rolling the mouse wheel),
